Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient comfort and clinical excellence. Prior experience with dental software such as tracker, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and dental assisting procedures, is highly desirable. A background in Dental terminology and Prime scan is considered a huge asset.

Duties

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, including oral surgeries, endo treatments and pediatric dentistry and all aspects of general dentistry.
  • Take dental radiographs when necessary
  • Manage patient records accurately using tracker
  • take impressions using the prime scan.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, ensuring they understand care procedures
  • sterilization
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment plans
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Support the clinical team

Requirements

  • Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program required
  • Prior experience working with tracker preferred but willing to train if necessary.
  • Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practice
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with excellent organizational skills
