Silversmith – Gem Studio Don Mills

The Gem Studio is growing and we're looking for a creative, energetic silversmiths to join our team Whether it's a birthday, bachelorette, date night or "just because", our jewelry making workshops help guests create their own rings, bracelets, earrings and more while celebrating life's moments. We also offer permanent jewelry and charm workshops, turning each appointment into a memory guests will cherish forever.

Now with 14 locations (and more on the way), there's plenty of room to frow with us as we bring hands on creativity to communities across the country.

Your role as a Silversmith:

As a silversmith at the gem studio, you'll deliver magical, hands on jewelry experiences that turn guests into lifelong raving fans. You will guide guests through our interactive workshops while ensuring a safe, fun and welcoming environment. From teaching torch safety to capturing Instagram worthy moments, you'll help create memories guests will share and remember.

Key responsibilities

· Create a warm, welcoming environment by greeting guests promptly and using their names to make them feel seen and celebrated

· Guide guests through Gem Studios hands on jewelry workshops, ensuring each step is clear, fun and engaging

· Educate guests on sterling silver, pricing and customization options in a clear and friendly manner

· Capture guest workshop moments for social sharing, encouraging reviews and online engagement

· Convert walk ins into workshop bookings through genuine, informative conversions

· Promote additional pieces and design add Ons with clear, transparent pricing communication

· Safely demonstrate and guide guests in using silversmithing tools and equipment while maintaining a safe clean, and organized workspace

· Support overall studio readiness by arriving early to set up and assisting with maintaining an inviting environment through the day

· Contribute to a positive, team centered environment by communicating openly and supporting your teammates

· Perform other related duties as needed to ensure smooth fun and memorable guest experiences.

Compensation & perks

· Pay structure: $19/hr base pay + tips

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
