Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Saskatoon, SK for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounts payables and receivables, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting with tax filings. The role also includes maintaining accurate and organized financial records, monitoring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the senior accounting team with various accounting tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and performing bank reconciliations
  • Skills in managing accounts payables and receivables
  • Knowledge of tax filings and compliance with financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation or working towards it is a plus
