Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires effective communication skills, strong time management abilities, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete cleaning tasks.
  • Conduct custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Manage heavy lifting as required for moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Communicate with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with custodial practices and the use of cleaning equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing environments is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
