We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier Helper. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our checkout counters.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Assist customers with bagging and ordering items.
  • Process checkouts efficiently and accurately, obtaining payments from customers.
  • Stay informed about store promotions to provide customers with up-to-date information.
  • Maintain cleanliness in retail areas and workspaces.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Need to have valid SIN number
  • Preferably possess cash-handling and customer service experience (Previous cashier experience would be an asset).
  • Ability to count money efficiently and accurately.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
  • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
