Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. Bilingual skills and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued. This role offers an engaging environment where organizational skills and a friendly attitude contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
  • Engage in upselling to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
  • Maintain merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
  • Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and offering personalized recommendations
  • Handle cashiering duties efficiently, including processing returns and exchanges
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area
  • Utilize phone etiquette skills to assist remote or phone-in customers when necessary

Skills

  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members
  • Experience in retail or technology sales, including product demos and technical sales expertise
  • Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for transactions
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage merchandising, stock, and customer flow
  • Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
  • Effective phone etiquette for remote assistance or inquiries
  • Upselling skills to enhance sales performance without compromising customer satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
