We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Member Sales and Services Manager to join our dynamic team.
POSITION SUMMARY
This key role is responsible for Membership Sales, Member Retention, Advertising Sales, Event Sponsorship and Digital Sign Sales for the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable with technology (to ensure capable use of Microsoft Office, our web-based membership management software will be taught), have confidence to make cold calls, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
This position is also responsible for attending member events; contacting members throughout the year; milestone programs, scheduling and taking part in visits; mentorship and ambassador programs; Member to Member and Community Discount Offers, Value Added Programs; and attending Staff Meetings;
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software is an asset
- Understanding of marketing principles and social media platforms
