Key duties & responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of janitorial staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect the quality of work and address any issues or concerns.
- Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Schedule and coordinate cleaning assignments to meet client expectations and deadlines.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any service-related issues promptly.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Provide coverage for relief shifts as needed, stepping in to perform janitorial duties and oversee operations when regular staff members are absent.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working in various locations and buildings as per company needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in janitorial or facilities management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (candidate must have a vehicle).
- Willingness to work weekends in addition to Monday to Friday schedule.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary Details:
The salary for this position $45 000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, the candidate will receive a monthly gas allowance provided in accordance with CRA guidelines. There is also potential to earn additional income by working weekends on top of the regular schedule.
