Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support large enterprise and public-sector organizations across Canada. These consultants will lead requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder interviews, documentation, and supporting testing.

Engagements are structured on a contract-to-hire basis, with consultants operating in a white-label capacity, representing our organization and/or our end-clients at an executive level.

The successful candidate will lead requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and testing support activities across complex transformation programs. This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and proven experience translating business needs into actionable technology and process solutions.

Duties

· Lead requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, observation, and document analysis

· Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and User Stories

· Conduct current-state and future-state process mapping using BPMN or similar methodologies

· Facilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops across business and technical teams

· Analyze business needs and recommend process optimization and technology-enabled solutions

· Support public sector modernization initiatives, including service delivery redesign and digital transformation

· Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Developers, and QA teams

· Support user acceptance testing (UAT) — test case review, defect triage, validation of requirements

· Maintain requirements traceability and change control

· Prepare presentations, reports, and executive-level briefing materials

Ensure alignment between organizational objectives, business processes, and technology solutions

Qualifications & Experience

· 3 to 5 years of Business Analyst experience preferred

· Proven experience working on public-sector or government modernization projects

· Demonstrated leadership in:

o requirements gathering

o process mapping

o stakeholder engagement

o documentation and reporting

o testing and implementation support

· Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid delivery models

Experience working in multi-disciplinary, cross-functional environments

Preferred Certifications

· IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

· Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC or equivalent)

· Six Sigma Green Belt (process optimization and improvement)
