The Opportunity

As the Head of People & Culture, you will play a critical role in shaping the foundation for our next phase of growth. We are a fast-scaling health technology company on a mission to transform how people experience healthcare. Our success depends on building and sustaining a world-class team. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can design scalable people systems, nurture a purpose-driven culture, and guide the organization through rapid expansion. You will be responsible for attracting exceptional talent, developing leaders, and ensuring our people thrive in an environment defined by strong communication, accountability and shared purpose. 

*** Please note this position is minimum three (3) days a week in office ***

What You'll Do:

People Strategy & Organizational Design

  • Lead and execute a people strategy aligned with business goals and rapid growth plans.
  • Design scalable talent structures and processes that support agility and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with the CEO and the Executive Team to anticipate talent needs as the company grows and develops.
  • Ensure the people strategy reflects the company values, mission, and evolving business priorities.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Evolve the company's resourcing engine to enable it to support accelerated and strategic hiring across global markets.
  • Establish clear, equitable hiring practices that attract top talent in both technology and healthcare sectors.
  • Introduce workforce planning tools to anticipate future role requirements and skill gaps.
  • Partner with Leadership and Marketing/Brand to enhance the company's employer brand visibility and reputation.

Culture, Engagement, & Employee Experience

  • Directly collaborating with the CEO and Executive Team  to foster a culture rooted in strong communication, accountability, and shared purpose.
  • Develop programs that drive engagement, recognition, and retention across diverse business units.
  • Ensure internal communication alignment during period of rapid growth and organizational change.
  • Establish formal employee feedback channels and regularly measure and act on survey outcomes.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build frameworks for leadership development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Coach Executives and People Managers to lead more effectively through rapid growth and organizational change.
  • Partner with People Managers to define progression and growth opportunities for employees.
  • Introduce tools and methodologies for high-impact performance management and continuous learning.

People Operations, Systems & Compliance

  • Oversee People systems, policies, and processes to ensure scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Leverage data and analytics for decision-making, workforce insights, and forecasting.
  • Accountable for compensation strategies, benefits design, and total rewards programs.
  • Create consistency in people operations while maintaining local flexibility across regions.

Note: Duties are not limited to those listed above. Additional duties may be assigned as required. However, reasonable consultations with personnel will be made, if possible, under business conditions.

What You Bring:

  • 10 to 12 years of progressive HR or People Leadership experience with time spent in people management and direct ownership of strategy and execution
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading growth in a fast-growing start-up or scale-up environment
  • Formal, completed education or training in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a directly related field – preferably a Bachelor's degree
  • Track record overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, engagement, and compensation.
  • Experience designing and implementing people strategies that align with business objectives and leadership priorities
  • Experience leading and developing a P&C/Human Resources team, and acting as a trusted advisor to Founders, Executives, and Managers
  • Strong change management experience, navigating ambiguity, and guiding organizations through restructuring
  • Solid working knowledge of employment law, ideally with exposure to multi-country environments.​
  • Comfort using people data and analytics to inform decisions, track progress, and forecast workforce needs.​
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, adept at collaborating with Employees, Managers,  and Executives
  • Comfortable with Board level presentations

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare, biotech, life sciences, or digital health sectors highly preferred
  • Advanced certifications or MBA preferred
