Main Responsibilities:

· Conduct Field Testing and Analysis of customer systems

· Support district sales in the handling of Company's program service calls on existing products and services, and assist in the correction of any problem areas.

· Participate in design reviews, new application start-ups, and evaluations. Assist in critiquing products for serviceability, performance and reliability. Inter-act with appropriate company resources and work as a team.

· Assess on-site field problems and operate required testing equipment in order to return systems to customer conformance.

· Coordinate and manage replacement parts and programs to the individual manufacturing plants in order to ensure the availability of components as needed.

· Assist in the preparation of reports detailing technical problems and solutions to initiate necessary corrective product modifications and/or recommended process changes. Document value provided to the customer whenever possible.

· Assist in the development of troubleshooting service guides and bulletins on existing products. Assume lead role of maintaining troubleshooting guides/bulletins and distribution to departments when required.

· Qualify, coordinate and monitor outside subcontractor network as required to ensure repair timelines are maintained and customer satisfaction is maintained.

· Work with other district personnel toward continuous improvement of policies and procedures resulting in increased customer satisfaction.

· Provide installation, resource and services on a project request basis necessary to satisfy the needs of the customer. Including field surveys, installation checklists, rollout support services, etc.

· Provide training to the first-line Account Managers on Company offerings and the resources available to them to assist in answering customer questions.

· Seek to keep abreast of the latest industry advances through continuous education.

· Supports and is committed to Chemtech's Quality Improvement Process and the guiding principles of Responsible Care.

· CMV (Create and Maintain Value) documentation compliance at selected district customer sites, and Chemtech Key Accounts.

· Promptly reports every incident, accident, injury, or applicable near miss to supervisory personnel.

Territory: greater Toronto Area, across Ontario (territory Base) including travel throughout Toronto, Burlington, Oakville, London, Northern Region and surrounding areas.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

· Technical Degree or post secondary Diploma with industry experience

· Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle and Good Driving Record

· Able to comfortably lift/carry 50 pounds

· Candidate must be comfortable climbing, stairs and heights.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree, Chemical Engineering Preferred

· 2+ years of successful technical service or field sales support experience is considered an asset

· Experience working with MS Excel Spreadsheets

· Must have a strong mechanical aptitude

· Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience

· Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and HVAC and Glycol treatment systems.

· Must be capable to perform chemical cleaning.

· Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)

· History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation

· Prior experience that required excellent communication skills

· Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills

· Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
