Graphic Designer Job Description

Reporting Relationship

You will report directly to the Owner/Operator of Mango Digital.

Job Description

Freelance/Contract: 20 hours per month within business hours (9 am to 5 pm EST).

As a Graphic Designer at Mango Digital, you will create designs for our client and internal projects, lead design direction, and effectively communicate with the team/clients.

You will be responsible for designing, but not limited to, websites, social media and ad graphics, app interfaces, and logos & branding assets.

The ideal candidate needs to have at least three years of professional working experience, be a pro with digital multimedia design, including UX/UI, and have excellent communication skills. If you are a motivated self-starter passionate about helping businesses grow, we want to hear from you

What You'll Do

• Be the Design Lead of a fast-growing company.
• Work with the CEO and Growth Marketing Specialist to;
• Create UX/UI design of client websites on Figma.
• Design client logos and branding assets.
• Design client social media graphics and thumbnails for social videos.
• Design client online advertising graphics.
• Work with the CEO and Development Lead to make app UX/UI mockups and graphics for market listings (and other marketing materials).
• Provide design support for our internal projects (our social media, website, brand, advertisements, etc).
• Lead design direction on client projects.
• Effectively communicate & collaborate with team members to deliver client projects & ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide clients with above-and-beyond experience through effective communication and explain our strategies; how, what, and why.
• Work with the CEO to create and optimize internal design processes.
• Manage several ongoing projects and ensure they are moving forward smoothly & promptly.
• Monitor trends, strategies, and competitor activity to identify new client and company growth opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing and design trends and best practices.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design, brand design, & website and software UX/UI.
• This is not a Junior Graphic Designer position. Expecting candidates to have professional expertise.
• Lead design decisions & design best practices.
• Proven track record of successfully executing design projects & a portfolio of work to demonstrate expertise.
• Comfortable thinking outside the box to solve problems and drive growth independently and collaboratively.
• Expertise in your craft, passionate about your work, and ambitious with your career.
