Seeking Full Stack Developer (React Native) on Sweat Equity 

Role:

I am looking for a tech cofounder and a business partner more than anything else as this comes with 35% in sweat equity. This goes beyond just product itself and requires long-term (preferably a year) commitment to build the foundation before it can be profitable. Business is a problem-solving endeavor, and this must be the central drive; learn, problem solve, iterate, and improve.

Responsibilities:

Bring the current MVP development to a state of done/ready for launch and own all things technical going forward. 

Product & Market:

The product is an IRL social platonic connections space. You either have passion for this problem or must develop a passion for this problem shortly after. You can learn more at  (fyi, the mockup is similar looking vibe coded, not the actual design). This market is ripe for a product like this, and a realistic target of 15m valuation over several years is entirely possible. Ultimately, success will depend on the speed of execution and that comes from strategizing what's important, planning the details, and then making it happen. Acquiring market share is done via problem solving, which is an ongoing effort that doesn't stop after the product is launched.

App Features:

• MVP: Activity Feed, Activity Posts (curd), Group Chat, Map search, Profiles (basic stuff), etc
• Roadmap features will include simple Gen AI & Agentic features
• Absolutely must have a passion for Gen AI, and Agentic AI

The lessons learned from 2025, and guiding principles for 2026:

• Meaningful progress requires full-time focus: Part-time effort is fine for an initial trial, but sustained momentum only happens when both founders are fully committed.
• Building in silos slows everything down: An ongoing collaboration between technical and non-technical founders is essential. Decisions improve when we think and solve problems together.
• In-person collaboration matters at this stage: Early-stage problem solving, speed, and alignment benefit greatly from working together in the same place. Remote can work later, or with very experienced, self-directed founders—but it's not ideal right now.
• This is not a single-domain role: Early stage requires flexibility. About 15–30% of the work should be allocated to non-technical problems as priority requires it.

Tech Skills:

• Strong experience with React Native to build and maintain cross-platform applications for iOS and Android
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern state management (Redux, Context API)
• Experience with native modules and platform-specific code (Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java)
• Backend development skills using , Express/NestJS, and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Database experience with SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure data handling
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, SDKs, and push notifications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, app store deployments, and version control (Git)
• Understanding of performance optimization, testing, and debugging for mobile apps
• Experience with cloud services (AWS & Firebase)
