Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is vital in providing guests with a welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food preparation and service. Duties

  • Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are stocked, fresh, and appealing
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and buffet stations, including cleaning utensils and equipment
  • Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest service
  • Busing tables and clearing plates to ensure a tidy dining environment
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Restock supplies and assist with meal preparation when necessary
  • Support catering or banquet setups if required
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality by demonstrating excellent communication skills and guest relations

Skills

  • Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, food safety protocols, and proper handling techniques
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience with cleaning duties including sanitation of kitchen areas and dining spaces
  • Host/host experience or guest services background is advantageous
  • Basic knife skills, meal preparation knowledge, and culinary experience are beneficial
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately if required for cashiering duties
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for guest interactions
