DD Mau started off as a small Vietnamese banh mi shop in Yaletown in 2012 and with our Chinatown location, we are serving more than just sandwiches. We offer an expanded menu that provides the downtown area with awesome Vietnamese street food and cocktails. Think Vietnamese food meets Japanese Izakaya. We are looking for a dishwasher/kitchen prep staff to join our team. We are a family business that believes in putting our employees first. We are looking for:

Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper

Job Responsibilities:

  • Wash, clean, organize dishes and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • Helps kitchen out with restocking items during service.

Shift availability:

  • Tuesday – Saturday between 6:00pm – 11:30pm (12:30am Weekends)

Requirements:

  • Foodsafe Certification preferred.
  • Restaurant experience and asset.
  • Vietnamese language and knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine is an asset.

  • Starting wage and tips shared will be dependent on level of experience
