We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support to our family of twins (14 months) and newborn (2 Months). We do have a friendly dog (Golden Doodle) as well. The ideal candidate will be experienced with children, compassionate, and capable of creating a safe, nurturing environment. This role involves engaging children in educational and recreational activities, preparing meals, cleaning and assisting with daily routines to promote their well-being and development and are looking for someone to work three times a week 10am-6pm.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including teaching, playtime, and creative projects
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
  • Foster a positive, nurturing relationship with children to promote their emotional development

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in a caregiving or teaching capacity
  • Ability to prepare meals and handle basic cooking tasks for household
  • Compassionate attitude with experience caring for children
  • Strong communication skills and patience when working with kids and families
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks including laundry, dishes, washing floors, cleaning play areas
  • Reliable transportation
  • Certification in caregiving or first aid is a plus but not mandatory
  • Must be responsible, punctual, and able to adapt to different family routines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
