We are recruiting Nurses (LPN or RN) to build a nursing support team for a pediatric client receiving Peritoneal Dialysis in Sooke, BC. Shifts are 4 hours in length and scheduled flexibly in the morning or evening.
Specialty training and all expenses related to attending training in Vancouver at BC Children's Hospital is provided and arranged with a minimum commitment.
Scheduling is flexible, work when you are available.
Duties may include set up of medical equipment, documentation, organizing supplies, assessment, decision making, general care of child, and reporting changes.
Qualifications:
- Current 'practicing' registration with BCCNM
- Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
