About this opportunity:
As a Senior Field Business Technician, you'll be at the heart of our Conventional business unit, driving operational excellence and supporting field teams across multiple disciplines. Reporting to the Senior Field Manager, you'll lead a team of Field Business Technicians and provide critical support to Operations, Maintenance, Asset Integrity, and HSE. Your role is pivotal in ensuring alignment, efficiency, and consistency across district-level activities while collaborating with peers to share best practices and deliver results. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by streamlining processes, enabling field staff to achieve their goals, and contributing to the success of our broader Conventional operations.
What you'll do:
- Provide ongoing development and support to field operations teams, enhancing workforce skills and effectiveness.
- Manage daily operations of the Grande Prairie area, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient resource allocation.
- Handle financial responsibilities, including SAP processes and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Support company-wide conventional initiatives, contributing to strategic goals and operational success.
- Assist field staff in their day-to-day activities, offering guidance and resources to optimize performance.
- Lead and develop a team of Field Business Technicians.
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Minimum 8+ years of administrative experience would be key, with previous lead or management experience in an administrative setting being preferred.
- An Administration or Business Diploma would be an asset.
- Experience with SAP would be an asset.

For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
