Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, masonry, and finishing work. This role involves installing a wide range of building components and fixtures, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial sites, utilizing a broad skill set to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute installation tasks.
  • Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components with precision.
  • Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as required for project specifications.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete installations efficiently.
  • Conduct plumbing and electrical installations or assist licensed professionals as needed.
  • Apply caulking, painting, and finishing techniques to ensure high-quality surface finishes.
  • Assist with construction estimating and project planning activities.
  • Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or general maintenance person work.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, siding, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing is preferred.
  • Experience with plumbing and electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to safety standards and quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred for site travel; reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Prior experience in restoration or manufacturing environments is advantageous but not required.
