We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, masonry, and finishing work. This role involves installing a wide range of building components and fixtures, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial sites, utilizing a broad skill set to deliver exceptional results.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute installation tasks.
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components with precision.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as required for project specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete installations efficiently.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical installations or assist licensed professionals as needed.
- Apply caulking, painting, and finishing techniques to ensure high-quality surface finishes.
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning activities.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or general maintenance person work.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and construction equipment.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, siding, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing is preferred.
- Experience with plumbing and electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to safety standards and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license is preferred for site travel; reliable transportation is necessary.
- Prior experience in restoration or manufacturing environments is advantageous but not required. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and skilled craftsmanship to contribute to diverse projects while developing their expertise in multiple trades within a dynamic team environment.
