YOUR IMPACT

AI is rapidly redefining how organizations operate, innovate and create value as an AI Transformation Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in how OpenText identifies, designs, and delivers next-generation AI solutions and brings intelligent systems into the core of how the organisation operates and reshape the future of work.

This role blends strategic mindset, technical depth, and strong product instincts. You will collaborate with business units to define the right problems, explore emerging AI patterns, prototype innovative ideas, validate feasibility, and shape solutions that deliver measurable impact. You will contribute to the enterprise AI strategy, design processes that accelerate innovation, and help teams adopt next-generation AI capabilities with confidence.

We're looking for someone who is technical enough to build, strategic enough to advise, and curious enough to explore emerging AI frontiers, all while staying grounded in business value and practical execution. This is a hands-on, high-influence role where your strategic perspective, technical expertise, and product-driven approach converge to drive the next chapter of applied AI innovation and advance the organization toward an AI-first future.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Turn business challenges into AI opportunities – Partner with business units to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and value drivers. Frame ambiguous problems into structured AI use cases with clear requirements and measurable outcomes. Translate business needs into actionable technical approaches and prototypes.
• Shape AI strategy and capability roadmaps – Develop strategy, domain-level roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks across organisation. Identify opportunities to use automation, intelligent workflows, and AI-assisted engineering to transform operations and customer experience.
• Build processes, playbooks, and reusable frameworks – Define repeatable methods for experimentation, feasibility evaluation, pilot design, and solution rollout. Strengthen the enterprise AI lifecycle, from discovery and design through validation and measurement. Create patterns that accelerate safe, consistent, high-quality AI delivery.
• Drive hands-on applied AI innovation – Rapidly prototype solutions, agentic AI, multimodal models, and predictive ML. Validate feasibility, accuracy, performance, and scalability. Experiment with emerging techniques to keep OpenText at the forefront of applied AI.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and influence – Work with engineering, data, product management, UX, operations, and LOB leaders to shape solution direction, guide design decisions, and ensure value realization. Communicate complex concepts in simple, actionable terms. Influence without authority and drive alignment across teams.
• Advance an AI-first culture – Support citizen innovators, champion best practices, and contribute to internal training, workshops, and thought leadership. Introduce intelligent development tools and automation patterns that elevate engineering craft and streamline workflows.
  
  

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• You bring strategic thinking with a product mindset – With 9+ years of experience, you have led the translation of complex business challenges into clear AI opportunities, value narratives, and structured problem statements. You have shaped or influenced strategies, roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and measurable goals that align near-term experimentation with long-term enterprise ambition, ensuring teams move with clarity, focus, and strategic intent.
• You are passionate about applied AI innovation – You are driven to experiment with emerging models, agentic behaviors, and new technical patterns, bringing hands-on experience to applied exploration. You think creatively and critically about how applied AI can transform workflows and enhance employee and customer experiences.
• You have built real AI systems end-to-end – You have hands-on experience leading and developing AI solutions across predictive modeling, ML, NLP, and generative or agentic AI, with a strong understanding of how these capabilities are progressing toward autonomous system patterns.
• You are an innovation-driven builder – You have led complex, multi-stream initiatives and large-scale implementations in fast-moving environments where emerging AI patterns, agentic behaviors, and new technical capabilities evolve rapidly. You are comfortable exploring the frontier while grounding every solution in practical feasibility, responsible design, and meaningful business impact.
• You design systems, not one-offs – You know how to create playbooks, frameworks, and reusable methodologies that help teams innovate with consistency, rigor, and speed. You design processes that accelerate delivery and enhance cross-functional collaboration, not add friction.
• You communicate with clarity and influence – You can articulate technical concepts to executives, engineers, and business teams in a clear and compelling way. You excel at guiding decisions and driving alignment across stakeholders.
• You thrive in collaboration – You value partnership across engineering, data, UX, product, operations, and business units. You work well with diverse teams and bring people together to deliver strong outcomes.
• You hold a master's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, data science, mathematics, business or a related field that provides a strong foundation for applied AI, strategic decision-making, and scaling emerging AI capabilities.
