St. Vital Catholic School

St. Vital Catholic School is a lively collaborative learning community for Pre-Kindergarten to grade 7, where everyone feels at home This is a unique elementary school in that it is a Catholic School in a public school division. This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant Position at St. Vital Catholic School, commencing immediately, and has a contract end date of June 30, 2026. Hours of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students.The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
  • Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
