Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Asset Protection Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preventing theft, reducing loss, and maintaining a secure environment. This position requires strong observational skills, professionalism, and a proactive approach to safety and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor store areas, stockrooms, and other key zones to identify and prevent theft or suspicious activity.
  • Conduct investigations into internal and external theft or loss incidents.
  • Collaborate with management, team members, and local authorities when required.
  • Apprehend or assist in the apprehension of individuals involved in theft, following company policy and legal guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate incident and investigation reports.
  • Support company policies and procedures related to loss prevention and workplace safety.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or security or must be trainable with a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Must possess or be eligible for a valid security license (as required by provincial regulations).
  • Clean background check and verifiable professional references.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in retail, corporate, or warehouse environments.
  • Certification in conflict resolution, defensive tactics, or crisis management.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
