MVP Modern Barbers Saskatoon is locally owned and operated.

Since opening in 2023 we have continued to grow our business and we are looking to add a qialified Journeyperson barber to our team.

Job Description:

  • Provide barbering and hairstyling services to clients including haircuts, shaves, trims, styling, and coloring/highlighting as requested.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends in barbering and hairstyling techniques.
  • Mentor and train junior/apprentice barbers and stylists (as required)

Qualifications:

  • Valid barber or stylist license recognized in the province of Saskatchewan.
  • Proven experience as a barber/stylist (minimum 2 years) who has achieved Journeyperson Status = RED SEAL Certification
  • Strong knowledge of barbering techniques, hair cutting styles, and hair care products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary based on experience and skill ($21 - $25 / hr)
  • Commission for services performed and products sold to clients
  • Customer tips/gratuities
  • Store profit sharing (paid quarterly)
  • Dental/Health Plan

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
