Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and experience in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive dining experience while developing valuable skills in food handling and hospitality operations.

Duties

  • Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas
  • Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during busy periods
  • Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally

Experience

  • Prior experience in food preparation or food service is preferred, especially within the restaurant or food industry
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong understanding of food handling safety, sanitation, and basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
  • Previous cashiering or serving experience is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
