Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our construction and heavy machinery team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, rollers etc. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to safely operate large machinery in diverse environments. The Equipment Operator will play a vital role in ensuring efficient project completion while maintaining safety standards across all operations.

Duties

  • Operate heavy equipment with precision and safety.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on-site.
  • Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute work plans efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
  • Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites as needed.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery and other construction equipment.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work safely in demanding outdoor conditions while adhering to safety standards. Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
