At HLD Muskoka, we've been designing and building modern luxury cottages and delivering a wide range of construction projects for 30 years. We are seeking an in-house Videographer and Content Creator to capture the process, the craftmanship, and the transformation and turn it into content that makes people stop scrolling.

This isn't a role where you'll be stuck in an office or cranking out generic posts. You'll be out on-site, capturing the action and shaping how our brand is experienced with beautiful Muskoka as your backdrop. You'll thrive here if you bring strong camera and editing skills and think like a true creator — someone tuned into social media trends who can spot small details and big moments, and knows how to turn them into content that feels fresh and engaging on every platform.

A Day in the Life:

· Own the entire video process from concept and storyboarding through filming, editing, color grading, and final delivery.

· Regularly visit active construction sites (residential, commercial, and site works) to capture candid progress, project milestones, equipment in action, and finished architectural details.

· Create a diverse range of video content for our social media platforms, website and internal use, including:

o Stunning, cinematic final reveals of completed luxury homes.

o Short-form content that captures on-site progress for all ongoing projects

o Safety & education videos for internal training or external partner use.

· Provide high-quality professional still photography of projects, headshots, and company events as needed.

• Edit efficiently using CapCut or comparable software, adding captions, overlays, transitions, etc.
• Stay plugged into social trends and adapt them into content that works for our audience
• Keep the content library and raw footage organized and accessible
• Work closely with the Brand Manager to brainstorm content ideas, maintain a consistent visual brand identity, and meet deadlines outlined on the content calendar.

· Responsible for gear management including, maintaining and keeping track of all filming and editing equipment.

What You Bring:

· Proven experience: You're skilled in videography with a portfolio that shows off high‑quality, story‑driven work. Experience capturing real estate, architecture, or construction projects is a significant plus.

· Technical Know‑How: You're confident with professional cameras (DSLRs, mirrorless, timelapse) and equipment (gimbles, lighting, audio gear) and you can edit with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut. Bonus points if you've dabbled in motion graphics or colour grading with After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.

· Drone Skills: You know how to capture cinematic aerial shots, and if you're certified to fly, even better.

· Creative Vision: You've got an eye for composition, lighting, and detail, and you can find the story in everything from raw construction materials to polished luxury finishes.

· Adaptability & Drive: You're an enthusiastic self-starter who is comfortable and safe working in dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes unpredictable construction environments.

· Collaboration & Communication: You work well with others, share ideas openly, and can communicate clearly with teammates across different roles.

Pay: $17.50-$25.00 per hour
