Salary:
$94,724- $114,261per year (pay range explained below)

Contract:
Permanent- Part Time

Hours:
22.5 Hours/Week Mon-Fri(8:30am -5:00pm with extended lunch)

Location:
Ulkatcho (Anahim Lake) Nursing Station)

Bargaining Unit:
PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)

About The Role
As a Community Health Nurse, you will deliver a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services within remote First Nations communities. Your role spans program areas including community and public health, primary care, and urgent/emergent care. Responsibilities include promoting health and preventing disease and injury among individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have / be:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Occupational Certification And Requirements

• Remote Community Health Nurse must be remote certified (RNC) with BCCNM.
• Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support Certification Level C;
• Completion of a recognized specialty nursing program is an asset
• Requires a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

Experience

• Minimum one (1) year of recent point-of-care nursing experience in a related or relevant field
• Include specific area of experience required for the role

BC Remote Certification
FNHA Community Health Nurse, have or are working towards Remote Certification (RNC) and can live anywhere in Canada. If you are currently not Remote Certified, speak with us today on how we can help you obtain your RNC, with extensive training, travel and salary paid for while you're pursuing your certification.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
