Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing and supporting tourism and destination development in the Columbia Valley. The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing programs across print, digital, email, advertising, content, and partner initiatives. This role ensures marketing activities run smoothly, while contributing to blog writing, digital content creation, and ongoing project coordination.
This role supports key deliverables for Tourism Radium, Invermere-Panorama DMO, Travel Columbia Valley & Columbia Valley Golf Trail.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate timelines, assets, and deliverables for marketing initiatives.
- Support paid advertising execution (digital, print), in collaboration with the Marketing Specialist.
- Prepare, schedule and publish newsletters.
- Update website listings, events, copy and images.
- Draft, write, and publish blog content aligned with seasonal campaigns.
- Coordinate production and distribution of print materials such as maps, guides, rack cards and brochures.
- Assist with content creation, including drafting social posts, captions and asset curation.
- Maintain relationships with tourism operators for content and marketing collaboration.
- Track performance metrics and assist with list management, analytics and segmentation.
- Support grant reporting, marketing committees and special events & initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Tourism, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 1–3 years of marketing, communications, or content development experience.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong writing ability, with experience creating blogs and digital content.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CMS platforms, and email software.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital workflows.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
