Software Engineer II

The IC3 Platform team is modernizing the platform infrastructure to improve reliability, scalability and developer productivity across IC3. A core initiative is migrating IC3 services from Windows to Linux containers and transitioning from x64 to ARM64 architecture, aiming for better performance and cost efficiency. The goal is also to support the transition with minimal manual effort by leveraging AI tools. Additional priorities include release orchestration, observability enhancements, .NET Core migration, improved developer productivity, and strengthened compliance and security, all supporting IC3's goals for simpler, more efficient infrastructure. Building and running services at scale for Microsoft 365 for hundreds of millions of users is a lot of fun and rewarding. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer II to help us do just that to power and deliver on IC3 mission. This opportunity will allow you to make a broad positive impact across many critical IC3 domains such as chat, audio/video calling, meetings, service and data engineering, and service management.
