Mileage Auto Plus is an independent automotive repair facility located in Thunder Bay, ON. We deal with automotive repair solutions as well as used automobile sales. We are mainly a Euro Car specialist service center and our techs are well trained for working on Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW vehicles. Mileage Auto Plus is looking for experienced a driven automotive technician to join our team. Candidate must exhibit traits such as reliability, honesty and the ability to work independently in a well equipped shop. The candidate must be licensed and should be able to do quality work and take pride in their trade. Must be able to be self sufficient and conduct quality control like a good technician should. The successful candidate will be well compensated. We offer relocation compensation as well. The pay will advance with better performance.

ResponsibilitiesTasks

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Provide customer service

Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

  • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
