Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychiatrist, based in Calgary, AB, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The Psychiatrist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a focus on mental health and psychiatric care. Responsibilities include developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, providing therapy for individuals and groups, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. Interaction with adolescents and adults will be significant, requiring tailored approaches for various age groups.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Psychiatry, Psychiatric Care, and Mental Health
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Board certification in Psychiatry or equivalent credentials
  • Licensure to practice in Alberta, or eligibility to obtain such licensure
  • Experience in addiction recovery or mental health support is an asset
