Transition Administrator
How does the role impact the organization?
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Transition Services, the Transition Administrator is responsible for providing support and acting as a liaison between the home office and new Financial Advisors (FAs) joining Raymond James branch offices.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Assist the National Sales team in transitioning Financial Advisors/Agents in Canada to Raymond James;
- Maintain an ongoing dialogue with transitioning Financial Advisors/Agents to Raymond James;
- Understand and educate transitioning Financial Advisors/Agents and their support staff on the policies and procedures relating to operations, compliance, marketing, technology, investment products and general business issues;
- Be responsible for the maintenance of a comprehensive process from the initial training to the ongoing support of new Advisors;
- Arrange to provide branches with preliminary and ongoing operational training;
- Customize transition requirements to the needs of the Financial Advisors/Agents;
- Coordinate approval and printing process for stationary and business cards;
- Manage weekly transition calls/meetings with Financial Advisors/Agents and their teams;
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What do we expect from you?
To qualify for this opportunity you possess:
- Fundamental knowledge of investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to learn new applications;
- The ability to work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail;
- Demonstrate advanced face-to-face, email, videoconferencing, and telephone etiquette and relationship management skills;
- Assist others with flexibility and willingness as required;
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
- Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information; and
- Communicate proficiently in French is an asset.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
- 3 or more years' experience in the Investment Brokerage or Financial Services Industry; and
- Post-secondary diploma or degree.
Licenses/Certifications
- Investment Representative licensing; or
- Completion of both the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Couse (CPH).
Travel
- Travel may be required up to 75%25 of the time.

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $55,000-62,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
