to drive process improvement by collaborating across teams, mapping and optimizing workflows, and enabling prioritized initiatives that support Coastal Community's strategic goals.

, you are a key member of the Enterprise Business Process Improvement team within the Project Management Office, supporting Coastal Community's mission to deliver impactful work. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Planning and Projects, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable insights and process improvements. Building on these collaborations, the
Business Process Analyst
leads the identification, analysis, and optimization of business processes. In addition, the role facilitates end-to-end process mapping and enables the intake, prioritization, and delivery of initiatives aligned with strategic enterprise priorities.
Your duties will include:
- Lead and facilitate process mapping, workshops, and engage with stakeholders to uncover business needs, gather requirements, design, and document improved workflows and member/client experience journeys.
- Translate business needs into detailed process designs by mapping current and desired states, enabling clear documentation of requirements and opportunities for improvement.
- Partners with business unit teams across departments and divisions to co-create and validate improved processes focused on simplification, automation, and member-centric design.
- Supports business case development, and enablement of the intake, prioritization, and delivery of process improvement initiatives.
- Defines, tracks, and reports on KPIs that measure the impact of process improvements and align with organizational strategy.
- Supports implementation and change management, including stakeholder analysis, communication, and training to ensure successful adoption of new solutions.
- Maintains and continuously updates a centralized repository of process maps, workflow diagrams, and journey documentation to ensure transparency, accessibility, and support for ongoing process improvement initiatives.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field requiring 3-4 years of full-time study, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Completion of a Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile methodologies (or related Business Process) certification.
Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:
- 4+ years' experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience in process analysis, including mapping, evaluating, and optimizing business processes.
- Proficiency with process improvement tools (e.g., Visio, PowerBI, SharePoint, Teams).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with Scrum ceremonies is an asset.

Career Band Range (Annual Salary) – $70,500.00 to $90,173.00
The posted salary range is designed to reflect a broad career band, encompassing a variety of roles within our organization and serves as a general guideline. Your final compensation will be tailored to your unique skills, experience, and the responsibilities of the role.
