Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Staff Member to join our ice cream making team. In this role, the candidate will contribute to various stages of the ice cream making process. Ensuring that our ice cream is made to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role involves various tasks including mixing ingredients, operating machinery, packaging products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. As part of this, the ability to follow a recipe and a process are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery.
  • Mix and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
  • Package finished products, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or higher education.
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is required.
  • Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to learn and follow processes. Consulting reference material as required to assist in the task. Like following a recipe.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to move quickly between tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment.
