Contract end date: September 7, with a possibility to transition to part-time in the fall)

This is a unionized position represented by Unifor Local 1411. Wages and working conditions are governed by a collective agreement.
Position Summary
Create memorable guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages in a lively, family-friendly lakeside resort environment. The Bartender plays a key role in setting the tone for great service and may also assist with table service to support overall Food & Beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with care and consistency
Deliver friendly, fun, and professional bar service
Create a welcoming atmosphere for resort guests and families
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas
Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible service
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
Process guest payments and balance cash and POS transactions
Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory as required
Upsell beverage features, specials, and resort offerings
Follow all Smart Serve, health, and safety regulations
Support serving staff by assisting with table service when needed
Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to deliver great guest experiences
Support team and operational duties as required
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Smart Serve certification (required or ability to obtain)
Minimum 1 year of bartending experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic math and cash-handling experience
Positive, energetic, and guest-focused attitude
Ability to multitask and work independently and in a team
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
