NBA Courtside Restaurant, Welcome to your new career, this NBA branded restaurant will open in March of 2023 and is a new build located just min from Scotia bank Arena on the south side of Queens Quay East. This will be the first NBA licensed restaurant of its kind in North America with high end interior finishes and will be built on a strong food program. "Our food is as global as our game". Positioned as a Premium Casual restaurant with 250 indoor seats and 200 outdoor seats there will also be an integrated NBA retail shop selling unique NBA items. We have the North American rights to open more NBA Courtside Restaurants and plan to do so.

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and experienced FOH Hosts & Support to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service. This role requires strong communication & organizational skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing the flow of guests and an ambassador of the NBA brand

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
  • Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
  • Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Utilize POS systems; including Silverware POS & Hostme, to manage reservations and take out orders.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a full or quick service restaurant setting .
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food service operations is a plus, including serving techniques and menu knowledge.
  • A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role. Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests as part of our dedicated team
