Roofer/Shingler

About the role

We're hiring an experienced Roofer to install, repair, and replace shingle and metal roofing systems. This is seasonal work with consistent hours and overtime available during busy periods.

What you'll do

• Install and repair asphalt shingle and metal roofs.
• Perform tear-offs; install underlayment, ice-and-water shield, ventilation, and drip edge
• Diagnose leaks and complete service/repairs
• Measure, cut, and fit materials; operate hand/power tools (nailers, shears, brakes)
• Set up/dismantle ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection; keep sites clean and safe
• Load/unload materials; lift up to 50–75 lbs; work at heights and in all weather

What you bring

• Minimum 1 year of roofing experience with both shingle and metal
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather
• Solid knowledge of safety practices; Fall Protection/Working at Heights an asset
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with a crew
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
• Basic hand tools an asset (we supply major tools/PPE)
• Day shift, Monday–Friday; Saturdays as needed in peak season
• Overtime available/required based on workload

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Experience:

• Roofer/shingler: 1 year (preferred)
