We are hiring a PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER
(20 hours per week)
for a 11 Months Contract
with the possibility of extention

What You'll Do

  • You are here to provide housekeeping services to clients with disabilities to enable them to live independently in their own home, as well as the program office spaces
  • Perform general in-home light housekeeping and other light cleaning services. All duties are carried out under the direction of the client
  • Duties may include: sweep, mop, vacuum/wash floors, empty trash, clean multiple surfaces, dusting, laundry, wash dishes, make beds/change linens and other related duties as requested by client
  • Be part of the OPSEU union

PLEASE NOTE: In this position there will be exposure to cleaning solvents, scents, pests, pets and other potential allergens.

WHAT HOURS YOU'LL WORK totaling 20 hours per week:

  • Monday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Thursday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Saturday: OFF
  • Sunday: OFF

Please Note
The successful candidate must be available to work twenty (20) hours per week.
How To Qualify

  • Grade Twelve or recognized equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities would be considered an asset
  • Proof of First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Person)
