Orella Group is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our construction division and lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects while serving as a key point of contact for assigned client accounts. This role is responsible for managing projects end-to-end, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the growth of both existing and new client portfolios.

In addition to core project management responsibilities, the Project Manager plays a strategic role in account leadership, identifying opportunities to expand services, improve repeatability, and increase revenue with existing clients while supporting the onboarding and expansion of new clients.
This position requires strong technical construction knowledge, financial accountability, leadership capability, and a client-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Delivery
Lead construction projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Attend in person meetings, walkthroughs, and assessments when required. This includes travel throughout Canada as needed to meet the project expectations.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, execution plans, and resource requirements.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and financial tracking.
Client & Account Leadership
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication and reliable execution.
Understand client needs, operational priorities, and growth opportunities.
Proactively manage expectations, resolve issues, and provide strategic solutions.
Represent Orella professionally across all client interactions.
Revenue Growth & Business Development Support
Identify opportunities to expand revenue within existing client accounts through additional services, scopes, or programs.
Support pricing, estimating, and proposal development for new and repeat work.
Assist in onboarding new clients and transitioning them into active operations.
Support repeatable processes that drive client retention and long-term account growth.
Collaborate with leadership on business development initiatives and strategic client expansion.
Financial Management & Risk Control
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
Review and approve change orders, invoices, and financial documentation.
Identify and mitigate project risks related to scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
Ensure accurate and consistent use of internal project and financial systems.
Maintain accountability for project profitability and financial performance.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and support Project Coordinators and project team members.
Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to support team growth and performance.
Foster collaboration across operations, finance, safety, and leadership teams.
Support onboarding and training of new staff as required.
Promote accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Safety, Compliance & Quality
Champion Orella's safety culture across all projects.
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, codes, and company policies.
Participate in safety planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain quality standards across all work performed.

Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of construction project management experience.
Experience managing commercial, residential, maintenance, or program-based projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
Proven experience managing multi-trade projects and client-facing accounts.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
Experience with project management and financial systems (e.g., Knowify, Procore, or similar).
Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work on-site and travel throughout Canada as required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexible schedule based on project requirements. Many retail projects take place overnight and through weekends if the schedule dictates.
