You're someone who thrives behind the scenes, keeping things organized and running smoothly. You understand the importance of a great candidate experience and take pride in supporting recruitment processes with accuracy, responsiveness, and care. If you're detail-oriented, collaborative, and enjoy making things happen, you could be the perfect fit for our Talent Acquisition Coordinator role.

You'll coordinate interviews, assessments, and background checks; assist with job postings; and ensure timely, professional communication with candidates and internal stakeholders. You'll also play a vital role in onboarding new employees, organizing career events, and maintaining accurate records related to collective agreement provisions.

Your ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with discretion will be key to your success. You bring strong customer service skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage shared recruitment inboxes and respond to internal and external inquiries, including legal and departmental requests.
  • Organize, track and attend career fairs and outreach events.
  • Process recruitment-related invoices.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, phone screens, and reference checks.
  • Schedule assessments, background checks, and proctor in-house selection tests.
  • Prepare and distribute new hire packages
  • Monitor and maintain inventory on career fair materials.
  • Maintain employee lists related to collective agreement provisions (e.g., standing applications, recall, salary treatment, auto applicants).
What it takes:
  • Grade 12 education, plus post-secondary courses in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an office or recruitment setting.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (SuccessFactors is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and professionalism across all levels of the organization.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a busy environment.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
