Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized therapy services to patients in our clinics. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and supporting patients' recovery and functional independence. The Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes through expert care and collaborative teamwork.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and medical directives
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety measures
  • Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in medical records
  • Manage caseloads efficiently while ensuring quality care delivery across diverse patient populations

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the province of practice
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, acute care procedures, and case management principles
  • Proven ability to deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced healthcare environments
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $94,000.00-$99,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
