Our Homecare Agency is looking to hire an RN/LPN with leadership capacity to join our Home Support team. The candidate must have a current practicing registration as an RN/LPN with Nova Scotia College of Nurses. Please submit references with resume. Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing and evaluating service plans for clients

  • Be able to evaluate CCA workers in the field

  • Instruct staff in new protocols and procedures

  • Community experience an asset

  • Problem solving and good communication skills

  • Must be able to work in collaboration with team members

  • Must be well organized and be able to initiate workload and work independently

  • Ability to make decisions which are of a critical nature and which demonstrate excellent judgement ability

  • Some computer skills would be an asset

  • Be reliable and available to attend work

  • Valid driver's license / reliable vehicle required

  • RN / LPN License

  • Required to provide criminal record check with vulnerable sector check and child registry

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30.00-$43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
