This is a full-time position or temporary 3 month contract to unload containers

  • The position requires the ability to lift and move items over 65 pounds continuously throughout the day, while working efficiently and within established speed and safety limits.
  • Updated Physical Requirement The position requires the ability to lift and move items up to 65 pounds repeatedly throughout the day, especially during peak seasons with increased volume (e.g., rice shipments for the holidays). Applicants must be able to meet these physical demands safely and consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Lift and move items up to 65 lbs repeatedly throughout the day, maintaining speed, accuracy, and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned by warehouse supervisor

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be physically capable of repeatedly lifting, carrying, pulling, and stacking items up to 65 lbs.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be physically fit and able to safely and repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items.
  • Must be able to work quickly and maintain a high level of energy throughout the shift.
  • Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance.
  • Must be able to read and pick accurately.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.

Conditions:

  • Must be able to work in multiple temperature zones including cooler and freezer environments

Required:

  • Steel toe (CSA approved)
  • Safety Harness
