Position: Shipper/Receiver
Type: Fulltime Permanent
Location: Duncan, BC
Compensation: $ $25.00 / hour

Position Overview:
As a Shipper/Receiver, you'll be the backbone of our operation, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of parts and materials. You'll manage inventory, handle incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in contributing to the overall success of the team. You'll work closely with different departments to ensure all orders are processed and delivered on time, playing a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Job Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring they meet company standards and deadlines
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and updating as needed
- Organize and store parts and materials in designated locations for easy access and retrieval
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring safe handling of all items
- Handle returns and exchanges, processing them promptly and accurately
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred)
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment
