Work Location
- Work assignments will vary based on different events and shows, which may require travel to various locations across Nova Scotia or sometimes NB.
- Flexibility to work in different areas within the province is essential.
- A valid driver's license is considered an asset, as some roles may involve driving between event sites or transporting bakery goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Outstanding Customer Service
Greet customers warmly, respond promptly to their needs, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Merchandise Stocking & Display
Restock shelves and maintain product displays according to company standards, ensuring that in accordance withshelves are always neat and well-organized.
- Inventory Management
Accurately scan products, monitor inventory levels, and assist with ordering to keep products in stock.
- Promotions & Program Setup
Implement company-led promotions and programs, helping to create an engaging and dynamic store environment.
- Maintain Cleanliness & Safety
Keep department areas in a maintained and organized, adhering manner, strictly following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe space for both the environment and team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or bakery environments
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate POS systems, including Micros POS
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management
- Experience in food preparation and upselling techniques
- Effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment play a crucial role
