of Port Perry Pizza Hut (Take out and Delivery) has immediate opening for experienced Cooks and Cashiers (Permanent - Full Time / Part Time Positions).

As a cook and cashier you will perform some or all but not limited to the following duties:

  • Front of house (FOH) responsibilities including; Answering phone calls and taking take-out, delivery and walk-in orders
  • Cutting pizzas, preparing wings, pasta, deserts, salads, packing deliveries, assigning deliveries to multiple drivers and more
  • Back of house (BOH) responsibilities including; cutting vegetables, preparing meat, making salads and pasts
  • Making pizza dough and receiving, unpacking and storing inventory supplies
  • Preparing customised and recipe pizzas for customers
  • Washing and sanitising kitchen utensils as well as all equipment and stations
  • Ensure that Pizza Hut quality standards in food, safety and cleanliness are being followed

Qualifications:

  • Communicate effectively with other managers and staff members
  • Completion of high-school or college degree in program related to hospitality, business or food and beverage service management is an asset.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Have 1 year or less of experience in food service sector
  • Multi-tasker and team player as well as ability to manage time effectively
