We're seeking passionate, engaging tutors to provide in-person academic support to students of all ages. This is a great opportunity for educators, university students, or professionals with a strong subject background who are looking to make a meaningful impact in their community.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized tutoring sessions in-person
  • Support students in:
  • JK to Grade 8:
     Reading, writing, math, and homework strategies
  • High School:
     Math (general and advanced), English, Science, and other core subjects
  • Encourage confidence and motivation in students by using a strengths-based, patient approach
  • Communicate with parents or guardians when appropriate to share student progress
  • Submit brief session notes or progress updates to the company

Qualifications:

  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge in the subject(s) you wish to teach
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently with students of various ages
  • Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling for sessions

  • Vulnerable Sector Check
     (for in-person tutoring or if already obtained)

Compensation:

  • $30 - $40 per hour based on experience and subject area
  • Paid monthly based on hours worked
  • Consistent, long-term student pairings when available
