Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Car Hauler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely and efficiently from one location to another. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle handling, commercial driving, and heavy equipment operation. The Car Hauler will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet is delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload vehicles onto transport trailers using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle transport, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding transport schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition for transport.
  • Utilize forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

  • Valid class AZ commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in freight transportation or car hauling required
  • Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
