Starting wage for this position is $21/hr. Employees at this location make an additional average of $3-5/hr in tips depending on weekly store volume.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Pre-employment Criminal Record Check
• Selling it Right Standard Certificate
• Desire and ability to develop a positive in-depth understanding of cannabis
• 2 years plus experience in a similar scope of role with sales and customer service experience in retail or hospitality with extensive customer-facing interaction
• Ability to diplomatically and professionally interact with customers at all times
• Ability to stand for long durations of time
• Ability to safely lift 20 lbs. on a regular basis

Typical responsibilities of the job include:

• The Assistant Manager, under the general supervision of the Store Manager assists in all facets of the management of the Inspired Cannabis retail operation, by providing leadership and direction, controlling costs and maximizing revenue through the achievement of sales targets.
• Provides excellent customer service and education to the public.
• The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in developing and implementing operational plans, developing annual store budgets, controlling employment costs, and analyzing reports.
• The Assistant Manager is expected to contribute to establish and improve the Inspired Cannabis store image through the implementation and maintenance of policies.
• The Assistant Manager is also involved in the hiring, training, and development of staff, scheduling assignments and participating as required in all store duties.
• The Assistant Manager will assume management of the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Other duties as assigned.
