The Opportunity
Grizzly Supplies is looking for a
Shipper/Receiver
to join our team in
Surrey, BC
. As the Shipper/Receiver you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of parts at our warehouse.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Shipper/Receiver your key responsibilities will include:

  • Picking parts from bin boxes
  • Assembling kits
  • Inventory counts
  • Measuring parts for accuracy using calipers
  • Packaging orders for shipment, from small parcel shipping up to palletized loads
  • Entering waybills and completing export documentation
  • Contacting carrier dispatch to arrange transportation
  • Receiving parts and stocking shelves
  • Setting up and operating the rubber molding press as required
  • Assisting customers and couriers with order pickups
  • Coordinating with the other business locations on a day-to-day basis
  • Performing the necessary lifting and handling of materials as required

Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Basic math skills and computer proficiency
  • Ability to stand and walk, picking parts throughout the day
  • Physically able to operate equipment and wear the appropriate PPE (must be clean-shaven to wear respirator)
  • Previous experience operating a forklift would be an asset but is not required
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Adherence to all safe work procedures

The base pay range for this role is: $20.00 to $22.50 per hour.
